Jay David Bolter is a Professor Emeritus at the Georgia Institute of Technology and former Director of the Augmented Environments Lab there. In addition to The Digital Plenitude, he is the author of Windows and Mirrors (MIT Press, 2003), with Diane Gromala; Remediation: Understanding New Media (MIT Press, 1999), with Richard Grusin; Writing Space: The Computer, Hypertext, and the History of Writing (1991 & 2001); and Turing's Man: Western Culture in the Computer Age (UNC Press, 1984).
